Mon, February 25 (MExN): On account of the Union Minister (Health & Family Welfare) Dr Harsh Vardhan’s visit to the district on February 26, Mon Superintendent of Police (SP) Imnalensa Ao has issued a temporary traffic regulation for smooth vehicular movement.
The following locations have been notified as ‘No Entry Zones’ till the departure of the VVIP from Mon Town:
a. No entry of vehicles from Konyak Union Office junction to Private Station.
b. No entry of vehicles from Private Station (ENSF Traffic point) to Helipad Ground.
c. No entry of vehicles from KNSK Office junction via Assam Rifle Camp to Helipad Ground.
d. No entry of vehicles from helipad ground via Private Station via Hospital junction.
The following locations are have been notified as entry points: NST junction via Longwa junction via Private Station via SBI Main branch via Bazar upper line via KNSK Office junction via Angjong School via Cultural Office junction.
To ensure strict regulation of the movement of private vehicles, and for the entry of vehicle between helipad ground to District Hospital, vehicles with the following passes are allowed entry on the routes mentioned below:
a. Red Pass: Unrestricted access in No Entry Zones except towards Walo Guest House.
b. Yellow Pass: All access except towards Walo Guest House.
c. Green Pass: Vehicles with green pass will only be allowed entry till 09:30 hours in the No Entry Zones. Moreover the occupants are to be dropped at DBS junction by 9:30 to enable the occupants to attend the function and the vehicle has to be parked in the vicinity of KU office or below.
