More long distance trains being restored by NF Railway

Maligaon, September 21 (MExN): The NF Railways today informed that nine more pair’s passenger carrying trains are going to be introduced shortly. With this a total of 36 pairs of long distance passenger trains have been restored after the unprecedented flood which had disrupted rail communication to the zone. The restored trains include Rajdhani Express, North East Express, Kamrup Express and Kolkata – Radhikapur Express, Kanchanjungha Express, Saraighat Express, Guwahati – Secunderabad Express, Kamakhya – LTT AC Express, Avadh Assam Express, Capital Express, Kamakhya – Gandhidham Express, Guwahati – Okha Express, Padatik Express, Darjeeling Mail, Kanchan Kanya Express, New Tinsukia – Bangalore Express, Poorvattar Sampark Kranti Express, Kamakhya – Bangalore Cantt. Humsafar Express etc.   The NF Railways informed that all the sites have now been restored. While long term repair activity will continue in these locations, train movement will continue at restricted speed till such time that final repair works are completed, it added.
