Kohima, August 23 (MExN): The Transport Department has notified that the temporary suspension of services pertaining to registration of vehicles and driving licenses has been lifted.
The Motor Vehicles Department will resume its function of registration of vehicles and issue of driving licenses with immediate effect, a DIPR report stated on Sunday. SOP on COVID-19 as issued by the State and subsequent periodical instructions as issued by the Government must strictly be adhered to, the report added. It may be mentioned that earlier, on June 8, the Department had temporarily suspended services pertaining to registration of vehicles and driving licenses.
