Eagle FC defeated Classic Kickers 3–1 in the final match of Game Week 7 of the ongoing Lirunas Presents 10th Morning Premier League (MPL) 2025 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium here on Saturday.
Abemo, Edward and Along scored a goal each to seal the win for Eagle FC, while Lithung netted the lone goal for Classic Kickers.
As of Game Week 7, Vanguard FC Old Boys and Eagle FC jointly lead the standings with 22 points each. They are followed by Morung FC (17 points), Classic Kickers (13), Unity FC (11), United Bulls (7), Mustang FC, Merhulietsa FC and Morning FC (6 each), and Kohima Police (4). Game Week 8 matches are scheduled to begin from May 19.
