Tuensang, October 23 (MExN): One day oyster mushroom cultivation training for women was organized by Tuensang District Administration and District Level Centre for Women (MSK) under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao at Longkhim Town on October 23.
Kiukumsungla Jamir, ADC Longkhim briefly highlighted on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. She appraised the gathering to give equal importance for skills development for self-reliant, sustainable livelihood and also encourage the attendees to put into action and starts from own kitchen.
Songmao M, Women Welfare Officer, DLCW gave a presentation on oyster mushroom cultivation and provided detail information of procedure to produce healthy organic products. Approximately 25 women folk participated in the training.
