BANGALORE, APRIL 29 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Union Bangalore convened its first consultative meeting, bringing together various tribal student unions, community leaders, and church representatives in a historic gathering on April 27.

Amid the myriad of challenges faced by student unions in metropolitan hubs like Bangalore, the imperative to extend our reach to the Nagas residing in the city and stronger collaborations with churches and sub-units has never been more pressing, a press release issued by the NSUB stated.

It stated that the meeting addressed crucial issues such as the mental health needs of the community, providing support and advice on legal matters related to work contracts, and fostering cultural exchange with non-Naga communities.

Looking ahead, NSUB is committed to launching various initiatives under the banner of 'Embrace Digital', contributing to the city that Nagas have called home for over five decades through community service, and prioritizing the welfare of the Naga community in Bangalore by addressing their diverse needs, the press release stated.
