Kohima, May 25 (MExN): Under Start-Up Nagaland, Department of Industries & Commerce, NAGABOTS Incubation Centre (NIC) was officially inaugurated on May 24. With this, Nagaland has introduced the 5th Incubation Centre under its Start-Up Policy.
Er Kikrukhrielie Khezhie, Director, NAGABOTS in the welcome note highlighted the significance of the occasion and introducing the mentors and incubatees who will be an integral part of NIC.
Keneirienuo K Thenuo, Team Leader, Start-up Nagaland shared as overview of the start-up ecosystem in Nagaland, shedding light on the incredible potential and vibrant ecosystem that exists within the region.
John Pienyü, Founder of Arintin Ventures shared his vision and expectations from an incubator, emphasizing the importance of providing comprehensive support and resources to startups in their early stages.
The special guest, A Temjen Jamir, Director of Industries and Commerce, Nagaland shared perspectives on the role of incubators in fostering innovation, job creation, and economic growth in Nagaland.
Following the formal programme, A Temjen Jamir inaugurated the event by cutting a ribbon, signifying the official opening of the Nagaland Incubation Center. After the ribbon cutting, the special guest was given an exclusive tour of the lab housed within the incubation centre. The lab showcased cutting-edge technologies, including a 3D printer and a multi-purpose robotics arm, exemplifying the centre’s commitment to providing start-ups with the necessary resources and infrastructure for their development. Additionally, various models of innovative projects were on display, offering a glimpse into the immense potential and creativity thriving within the Nagaland start-up ecosystem.
The event witnessed the presence of entrepreneurs, mentors, student leaders, Government Officials, incubatees, young graduates and distinguished guests.
