Medziphema, May 17 (MExN): NagaEd founder Kevisato Sanyu on Saturday led a one-day entrepreneurship and professional skills session at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Nagaland University, Medziphema campus, under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research’s Tribal Sub-Plan (ICAR-TSP).
The programme was organised under the ICAR-TSP project titled “Development of Soft Skills, Professional, Business, and Entrepreneurship Skills for Employability amongst Students”.
Officials said the initiative aimed at addressing the growing gap between the number of qualified graduates and the limited availability of government employment opportunities.
The session, facilitated by Damaso Digital Pvt Ltd (The Study Falcon), brought together students for interactive discussions on entrepreneurship, leadership and employability skills.
Students participated in two key components of the programme — a direct interaction with a practising entrepreneur on the realities and challenges of entrepreneurship, and a hands-on profiling exercise using the DISC framework to help participants understand their leadership and behavioural styles.
Sanyu, founder of NagaEd, served as the primary resource person during the morning session, while Aonok Aier, Head of Projects and Learning Excellence at NagaEd, facilitated the afternoon activity.
Officials said the programme formed part of a national ICAR-TSP initiative designed to improve employability among students from tribal and indigenous communities.
NagaEd, a digital education company based in Nagaland, works towards improving learning outcomes for tribal and indigenous communities across Nagaland and the Northeast through partnerships with government agencies, schools, colleges and development organisations.
