The 2nd Dimapur Art Festival was declared open by Merenla Chuba, Director, IMC on October 15. The three-day art festival will culminate on October 17 with Abu Metha, Advisor to the Chief Minister officially declaring the Art Gallery under the Name Nagaland Art Center open.
The 12th Bn NDRF team based in Kohima under the Command of Insp/GD Rahul Ranjan sanitized the Banquet Hall ahead of the consultative meeting and post meeting on October 15. The team also scanned all the dignitaries attending the meeting.
Tuensang Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organized free medical camp at Changsha village of Mon district on October 15. The aim of medical camp was to provide medical support and assistance to the villagers especially those who are unable to go to the hospital at far distances. Works for construction of the Multi-Purpose Town Hall in Zunheboto town commenced in full swing on October 14. According to NDPP 35 Zunheboto A/C, the foundation stone of the new town hall was earlier laid by Advisor, School Education, KT Sukhalu on October 8. NDPP 35-A/C has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and NDPP legislators of Zunheboto District for their support towards the hall construction.
