A one-day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was organized by IQAC, Kohima College in collaboration with Patent Information Centre (PIC), Nagaland State Science & Technology Council, Department of Science & Technology. Three technical sessions were conducted on ‘IPR and its component: Overview of IPR’, on ‘Copyright and Trademark’, and on ‘Geographical Indications - Opportunities and Challenges’. Keep Our City Clean (KOCC) team with Kohima Chakhesang Churches Women Fellowship during cleanliness drive in Kohima from Classic Island to PHQ junction on April 17. The next will be with the Chakhesang Baptist Church, Minister's Hill from PHQ junction to Mohonkhola.

The council includes Katolu K- General Secretary, Akali K Kinimi- Finance Secretary, Hukuto H- Games and Sports Secretary, Ilo T Awomi- Literary and Fine Arts Secretary, Prina M Ghale- Students Common Room Secretary, Inalika Swu- Social and Cultural Secretary, Kani Chishi- Organising Secretary, Phuka P Zhimo- Information Secretary, Tonito Yeptho and Nisukha Zhimo- representative to ANCSU.

The Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo, visited Hoshepu EAC HQ on April 16, accompanied by EAC (HQ) Zunheboto with additional charge of EAC Aghunato, PD DRDA, Sr DEO Zunheboto, Superintendent of Prisons Zunheboto, BDO Tokiye Block, AE DRDA Zunheboto and host of other DRDA staff. They had interaction with the GBs, elders and council members of the villages under Hoshepu range. During the course of interaction, Hoshepu Range Public Organization submitted a representation to DC, who assured them of the matter being taken up to the appropriate authority.
