Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) conducted medical and veterinary camp in collaboration with Veterinary College, Jalukie at New Puilwa, on December 16. The AR personnel conducted medical check up of all the villagers and briefed about various health and hygiene methods to be implemented during the crisis. FPA India Nagaland Branch conducted sensitization program on Women's Reproductive Health and Rights at RHFPC Daklane on December 18.

Minister PHED, Government of Nagaland Jacob Zhimomi inaugurated the Rustrom at Vihokhu Cultural Centre (Sumi Cultural Centre) in the presence of Dr Kakheto Zhimomi on December 19. President, Western Sumi Hoho, Western Sumi Kukami Hoho, Sumi GBs and area chairman also attended the function.
Volunteers during the ‘Khonoma Green Fest 7.0’ (Voluntary Cleanliness Drive) pick up plastics, rags and all type of waste materials around the village. Merhüma Youth Organization, Khonoma Students' Union and Cloudline Tree-House sponsored the event. All together 34 participants volunteered and covered areas including Mowu Badze, Khriesanisa Seyie badze, Khonoma Dzükou point, NSF Memorial Monolith Foundation area in Charabagei and some picnic spots at Dzülerüdi were cleaned.

All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) in collaboration with Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC) initiated the first ever common library ‘Niu Library’. It was inaugurated at SKK Office Zunheboto on December 18 by Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Peter Lechamo, NCS .The library dedication prayer was done by Holika L Aye, Associate Pastor, SBCZ while the program was chaired by Ayeto Zhimomi V, President, SKK and vote of thanks was proposed by Hutoshe Kits, President, SKK.

Wokha District Legal Services Authority (WDLSA) conducted awareness programme on Fundamental Duties and National Flag Code on December 17 at District & Sessions Court Room with the Prosecution Inspector Staffs, Prosecution Staffs, Court Staffs and WDLSA members. Khrievono Seletsu, JMFC and also Secretary, WDLSA spoke on Fundamental Duties and Advocate Meribemo A Lotha, Retainer Lawyer spoke on National Flag Code.

Modern College released its annual magazine ‘APPRISE’ on December 14. The magazine was released by Dr Vitsou Yano, Principal, Modern College, in the presence of administration, staff and faculty.
