Five girls were selected to undergo baking class at Mokokchung under BBBP by District Administration and District Level Centre for Women, Tuensang from October 26 to 31. Lucy Jamir from ‘Pretty Bake’ Mokokchung trained the youths. The objective of the training was to give self confidence among the girls for sustainable living and to empower t6he youths for entrepreneurs in small way. It also aimed to generate self employment and to disseminate the skills/knowledge by the trained youths in the District among the youths.

The North East Forum for Indigenous People (NEFIP) - Assam Chapter and Nagaland Chapter had a joint meeting with JCPI (Joint Committee on Prevention of Illegal Immigrants) on October 31 at Tourist Lodge. The Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB), Pfutsero branch donated three radiators to Baptist Theological College (BTC) for heating up the College Library.
