DIMAPUR, JANUARY 25 (MExN): 3 new COVID-19 cases were detected while 10 people recovered from the infection in the State on January 25. The Health Department informed that the new cases include 2 from Peren and 1 from Tuensang. Meanwhile the new recoveries include 4 from Mokokchung, 3 from Dimapur, 2 from Kohima and 1 from Mon.
The total number of cases in the State now stands at 12,079 and with 11,753 recovered the number of active cases has reduced to 96. The number of deaths remains unchanged at 78.
723 more vaccinated
Meanwhile 723 health care workers were vaccinated with the Covidhield vaccine in the State on Monday. A press release from the Health Department informed that the number of health care workers vaccinated in Nagaland so far is 5,203.
Vaccination was carried out across 20 sessions sites in 9 districts on Monday. The press release added that there were no adverse events following immunization which needed medical treatment. No vaccinations are scheduled for January 26 on account of Republic Day.
