Nagaland: 64 new COVID-19 cases, 146 recoveries

Nagaland on June 22 reported 64 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total caseload to 24,438.

The new cases were reported from Dimapur (22) Kiphire (1), Kohima(10), Longleng (2), Mokokchung (12), Mon (4), Peren (8), Phek (1), Tuensang (1), Wokha(2) and Zunheboto (1).

Meanwhile, 146 persons also recovered from the infection on Tuesday, taking the recovery tally to 21,513.

Dimapur (81), Kohima (16), Mokokchung (39), Phek (9) and Zunheboto (1) were the districts from which the recoveries were reported.

The State also registered 2 new deaths from the infection, 1 each in Dimapur and Wokha, taking the death toll to 463.

At present, there are 1757 active COVID-19 cases in the State, out of which 99 are in the COVID hospitals while 1454 are under home isolation.
