Joining others, the Nagaland state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today launched Sankalp Patra campaign in conjunction with Viksit Bharat/ Modi Ki Guarantee at its head office, Kohima.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagaland’s tourism & higher education minister Temjen Imna Along invited the citizens of the state to share their ideas and suggestions during this Sankalp Patra campaign, which will continue till March 15.
BJP is targeting the collection of suggestions from 1 crore plus people across the country during Sankalp Patra campaign.
More than 6000 suggestion boxes will be installed across the country for this Sankalp Patra campaign, according to BJP.
In Nagaland too, the BJP legislator informed that the suggestion box will be placed in every district of the state.
The suggestions and ideas from the public from every nook and corner of the country will be incorporated into BJP party Manifesto, he said.
‘Work together for developed nation by 2047’
Along said the BJP has taken the determination to make the party manifesto according to the need of the people.
For BJP party, the manifesto is the like the Holy Book to build the people of this nation, he said.
Along said that anyone can share suggestions what he/she really feel for the state and for the country.

He said that Modi Ki Guarantee is for the citizens of India to live in prospective and in the forefront of the Nation as developed India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi vision is to see India as developed nation by 2047, he said.
“If Bharat has to be a Viksit Bharat by 2047, it should be with the effort of everyone, with the effort of all the political parties and with the effort of all the caste and creed, religion and the citizen of India,” he said.
In this, the minister stressed on the need to work together to see Bharat as a developed nation by 2047.
A call for collective decision
Also speaking on the occasion Er Kropol Vitsu, advisor, Prisons, Printing & Stationery said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken India to high level in term of developmental activities.
Under his leadership, Er Vitsu said “We are going to build India at par with the developed nation of the world.”
Er Vitsu, who is also vice president of Nagaland BJP, maintained that collective decision is required at this juncture.
Nagaland state is lagging behind in term of developmental activities, he said.
Stating that Govt of India has converted the policy of Look East to Act East, he said “We have to provide suggestions on this line.”
Under Modi, our state is going to be a developed state and going to be in parity with the development of the other states, he added.
