Nagaland BJP Minority Morcha celebrates pre-Christmas

Dimapur, December 19 (MExN): The Nagaland BJP Minority Morcha celebrated pre-Christmas at the Conference Hall of Hotel Silhouette on December 18 which also coincided with the National Minorities Day.

The programme was held in the presence of 12 Non-Naga community representatives, Ajay Sethi, VP and Media Convenor, Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland informed in a press release on Saturday. 

“This is the first time that any organisation has celebrated National Minorities Day in Nagaland,” the release claimed.

Speaking on the occasion, Khevishe Sema, State General Secretary and In-charge of Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland exhorted the community leaders to remain united in their efforts for the welfare of the minority communities. He conveyed Christmas greetings and also promised to be a medium for the minorities' voice to be heard.

State Treasurer and President of Gujarati community Mahesh Kotecha, State President Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland Deep Kumar, State Spokesperson and Co-in charge, Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland, Non-Naga Communities and Bengali Samaj President  K K Paul and representatives of Bihari, Bhojpuri, Brahmin, Gorkha, Jain, Kerala, Maithili, Manipuri, Marwari Samaj spoke on the occasion. Ajay Sethi expressed gratitude to all the community leaders, BJP members and sponsor Rajesh Sethi, Co-convenor Economic Cell of BJP Nagaland for the refreshments and conference hall.
