Nagaland BJP Minority Morcha conducts ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan’ drive

Dimapur, April 5 (MExN): On the advice of the National President of Minority Morcha Jamal Siddiqui, the Nagaland State Minority Morcha BJP organized COVID-19 Vaccination Help Desk in the vaccination Centres under the leadership of State General Secretary & In-charge State Minority Morcha Khevishe Sema and President, State Minority Morcha Deep Kumar. 

The event was supported by the district presidents, in-charges and members, besides the office bearers and volunteers, to assist the senior and needy citizens of the State in the last fortnight in the four districts of Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung and Phek, a press release informed on Monday.

Awareness was created amongst the people about the COVID-19 vaccination to clear any misconceptions and fears, under the slogan ‘Seva Hi Sanghathan,’ during all the three phases of the vaccinations, it stated.

According to the release, help desks were set up vaccination centres in all four districts and “More than a thousand frontline warriors, senior citizens, defence personnel, people with co-morbidities happily underwent the vaccination.”

It further stated that the medical teams and various officials acknowledged and expressed their gratitude to the Minority Morcha officials for assisting them in the caccination drive.  It also stated that the State General Secretary Khevishe Sema also took the first dose of COVID-19 Vaccine at district Civil Hospital Dimapur and encouraged the party karyakartas to work tirelessly for the welfare and betterment of the citizens. He paid a visit to the UPHC Duncan Bosti Dimapur as well, the release stated.
