Nagaland: BJP observes 42nd foundation day

Nagaland state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today observed the 42nd Foundation Day of the  BJP at the Head Office, Kohima. State BJP president Temjen Imna Along hoisted the party flag in the presence of state office bearers and other party leaders.

In his brief address, Along asserted that BJP is a public centric, pro farmer, pro village centric National party that has evolved with time, to become a stronger and visionary political party, with its ideology  deeply rooted and guided by  leaders who are inclusive.

'BJP is a cadre based organisation. Hence, we respect and follow the directives of our leaders', he added. He also lauded the National President JP Nadda,  for taking the BJP  party forward especially during the pandemic, as according to him, the National President has taken initiatives to evolve the BJP workers and Karyakartas into one of the most effective political workforce in the history of the Nation to serve its citizens in need.

The state president also mentioned the dynamic and visionary traits  of Prime Minister Modiji, under whose leadership, India, as a country, is  taken forward, surpassing even the advanced nations of the world in various welfare schemes and development of its communities, while focusing on the empowerment of the under previledged in every nook and corner of the nation.

Along also appealed to the Karyakartas to share the good narrative of BJP with the people; asserting that the   goals and ideologies of the BJP should reach every nook and corner.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by state vice president Kevidezo Peter Rutsa while state ST Morcha president Wangphong Awan Konyak delivered key note address. Everyone present, tuned in, to listen to the Live Streaming address of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The programme was also attended minister Kashiho Sangtam, state office bearers, Morcha officials, Cell convenors and Kohima District.

Meanwhile, BJP karyakartas across the state also observed the 42nd Foundation Day in all the districts and 60 mandals.
