Dimapur, October 30 (MExN): 51 new cases were reported on Friday taking the State’s tally of COVID-19 cases to 8945.
According to the daily briefing on COVID-19 issued by the Principal Secretary, Home, 32 cases were from Dimapur, 16 from Kohima, 2 from Mokokchung and 1 from Tuensang.
Out of the total cases, 7229 have recovered, indicating total active cases of 1,596 according to the briefing. As per the severity of symptoms 1,518 active cases are asymptomatic, 57 active cases are mild, 16 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 3 active case is severe on oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilator, it added.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 related death toll increased to 33 on October 30. The number of deaths categorized as ‘not COVID related’ was 6 while 2 more deaths are currently under investigation.
