Nagaland Gov brings Lao-Ong Mo greetings 

Kohima, September 29 (MExN): On the occasion of Lao-Ong Mo, the Governor of Nagaland, RN Ravi has conveyed greeting to all Konyak brothers and sisters and to the people of Nagaland.  Lao-Ong Mo is a post-harvest festival and is also known as the annual harvest festival. It is celebrated to mark the abundant harvest and thanksgiving. “It is heart warming to know that members of the Konyak community take part in the revelry with families and friends, rekindling kinship while others seek to build new relations along with the festivities,” the Governor said. Meanwhile, he also stated that “it is very important for our youth to preserve our rich culture and heritage, which should be manifested in our way of life through hard work, honesty and unity along with the colourful songs and dances.” “On this special occasion, I wish happiness, prosperity and good health to everyone. God bless you all,” he conveyed.
