DIMAPUR, JANUARY 12 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland and Meghalaya, RN Ravi has extended greetings to the people of Nagaland specially the Chang community on the occasion of Poanglüm festival.

In a communiqué, the Governor stated that the celebration of the festival should be a source of building unity amongst the people of Nagaland to usher in an era of collective peace and progress  with an all round developments  of the State.

He stated that the post harvest festival would help the people in connecting with their roots and values while keeping pace with modernity.

On this auspicious occasion, the Governor called on the youth to shoulder the responsibility of building “a new Nagaland of our dreams.”


Chief Minister has also extended greetings to the Chang community. “Warm greetings to the Chang community on the occasion of Poanglüm festival. May the celebration not only be joyful & strengthen bonds but also help in preserving ancestral values & identity of future generations. I wish the celebration a grand success,” tweeted Rio in his official twitter account.
