Kohima, November 16 (MExN): The Nagaland government has notified that collection of any kind of taxes/fees on items/goods that comes under the Goods & Services Tax (GST) regime shall be immediately stopped by all the Municipal and Town Councils across the State. This was informed in a press release issued by Himato Zhimomi, Principal Secretary to the government of Nagaland on November 16, in pursuance of the minutes of the meeting held on September 13, 2021 under the chairmanship of Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister. “This is for the strict compliance by all the ULBs in the State,” the notice added.
