Nagaland govt inaugurates three projects in Seyochung

Kiphire, March 3 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland inaugurated three projects in Seyochung town under Kiphire district on March 3. According to a DIPR report, the inaugurals were done for Town Council Hall, Rural Marketing Complex and Community Health Centre.

Seyochung Town Hall: Advisor, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Dr Neikiesalie Nicky Kire inaugurated the long awaited Town Council Hall at Seyochung under Kiphire district on March 3.

In an inauguration function Dr Kire encouraged the Seyochung area people to co-operate with town council and create more opportunities for the near future keeping area development as the first priority.

Marketing complex: A new marketing complex ‘Rural Marketing Complex’ was inaugurated at Seyochung town under Kiphire district on March 3.

The businesses at the complex will be operated exclusively by up-coming young entrepreneurs and women from Seyochung Town. It was formally inaugurated by Minister for Geology & Mining, Soil & Water Resource, Chairman NSMDC, V Kashiho Sangtam. In his address, Kashiho asserted that the marketing complex was a long- felt need for Seyochung Town ‘because for the town to grow’, it needs infrastructure plus connectivity.

Community Health Centre: Minister of Health & Family Welfare Department, S Pangyu Phom inaugurated Community Health Centre at Seyochung town under Kiphire district on March 3. In a function, he stated that the newly inaugurated centre belongs to the community and therefore, reminded the people that the success of the centre will depend on their involvement and support.
