Kohima, October 12 (MExN): Taking cognisance of various representations, demands, and ultimatums being published in the newspapers and other forms of media, by various organisations, on matters pertaining to different Departments of the State Government, the State Home Department has issued a memorandum requesting all Heads of Departments and Administrative Heads of Departments to take note of such reports and take prompt steps in resolving the grievances.
It also advised the AHoDs and HoDs to make necessary arrangements and suitably reply to the persons/organisations concerned, and wherever necessary, issue press releases without delay, with the approval of the competent authority concerned.
A copy of the action taken report on every such representation/demand/ultimatum coming out in the media, may also be provided to the office of the Home Department, Political Branch, addressed to Nchumbemo, NCS, Deputy Secretary, Home Department whose e-mail address and contact number are, nchumbemo.ncs@gov.in, and 08974632008 respectively, it added.
