Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): Nagaland state Minister for Higher Education & Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along, attended the 12th World Education Summit held at Leela Palace Convention Kakardooma, New Delhi on August 9.
The minister who addressed the summit advocated on the need to give special focus to small states like Nagaland in the areas of digital learning and smart classes. He highlighted the feature of educational approach in Nagaland, which integrates traditional and cultural values in the educational system.
The minister also took the opportunity to invite professional experts to visit Nagaland, to share, review and guide the mission of education in the state.
Other educationists who spoke in the first session of the occasion include Anil Saharasbudha, Chairman, All Indian Council for Technical Education; Ashutosh Peduejar, Commissioner & Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan; Augusto Montiel, the Ambassador of Venezuela to India; Anju Sharma, Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Gujarat; and Ramanathan Ramanan, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission, Government of India. Dr. Ram Gupta, Editor-in-Chief, Digital Learning Magazine & CEO, Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd., delivered the welcome address.
