Imnanaro was crowned as Miss Ao 2018 in a stiff competition with other 11 contestants from all the districts of the state at a glittering ceremony held at Town Hall, Mokokchung, on September 9. Satempokla and Bendangkokla were declared as the first and second runners-up respectively.
This is the second edition of Miss Ao beauty pageant organised by the Lodestar.
Jongpongnenla won the subtitle of Best ethic wear while Imnanaro was declared the Organizer Choice, Satempokla was adjudged the Best Personality. Bendangkokla was declared the Best Walk title.
The contestants went through three rounds of traditional wear, ethnic wear and gown round by design by Alemla Chungtia.
The official choreographer of the event was none other than Sasongdangba Yaden and Judges for the contest were Watsu Mungdang president Maonginla and Alempokba, National Director Miss Heritage International India 2015.
