Kiphire, October 13 (MExN): The District Planning Development Board (DPDB), Kiphire was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Kiphire, T Wati Aier at DC's Conference Hall, Kiphire on October 13.
A DIPR report stated that the DC Kiphire requested all the Heads of Offices to submit the list of all the employees to the Treasury Office on or before November 15, 2022. Aier highlighted the CMHIS and encouraged all Government employees to avail the opportunity. Kiphire being an Aspirational District, the central team are visiting the district from time to time to evaluate the developmental works and activities carried out in the district so he informed all the departments to be ready with the presentation.
He also welcomed the new DPDB members and urged them to give their best for the district. He also congratulated Dr N Moa Jamir, Sr Dental Surgeon DH Kiphire and Er Akok Sair, EE PHED for their achievements and bringing laurels to the Kiphire district.
During the meeting, some of the agendas discuss were proposal for the opening of B.C Olive School in Kiphire; constitution of verification committee for LADP 2022-2023; inter-departmental badminton tournament.
Stargazer ‘Discover and Elevate New Talents’ is an Arts and Entertainment Management from Kiphire District, founded by Albert Jingru and Yangkhong Sangtam in the year 2022. Stargazer plans to sponsor talented singers and musicians for basic music courses soon by partnering with music institutes in the state.
Later, a PowerPoint presentation was given by DPRO, Kiphire where he highlighted the overall departmental activities.
