Students of Minister’s Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School participate in the drawing competition conducted on the theme ‘Thanking the Frontline Workers’ on September 24.
Kohima, September 29 (MExN): In order to keep the students engaged and motivated during the closure of school due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Minister’s Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School (MHBHSS), Kohima conducted a series of online competitions besides the regular online classes.
Drawing competition for the students of classes A to IV was conducted on the theme ‘Thanking the Frontline Workers’ on September 24. To mark the occasion of World Music Day on June 21, open solo competition was held for all the classes. On World Literacy Day, online essay competition on the topic ‘My Family’ for classes V to VIII was organised on September 8. Solo competition was also held on the song title ‘Aye Waten Aye Waten Janemaan Janemaan’ for the students of classes IX to XII on September 14 on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.
The School stated in a press release that the motive behind these activities was to uphold the spirit of learning among the students and bring out the best in them even at a time when everything was shut and locked-down.
