Kohima Police recovers bike
Kohima, August 24 (MExN): A Royal Enfield bike bearing registration no. NL02-6124 reported stolen from Mezhur Higher Secondary School area, Kohima was intercepted by Kohima Police at Peducha police check gate on August 24. In this connection, the Kohima police arrested two persons identified as Pushe Pang (26) and Yuhson (28), PRO, Kohima Police informed in a press release.
ZBCK Father’s Camp
Kohima, August 24 (MExN): The Zeme Baptist Church, Midland is organizing a Father’s Camp from August 25-26 at Jubilee Memorial Centre (JMC), Lerie, Kohima under the theme “Building a Family Legacy”. A press note from Isapdai Chuilo, President, Mipei Kangbau (ZBCK) informed that Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC, Rev Dr Rachulie Vihienuo, Pastor, UBC, Kohima, and Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie, Chairman, Northfield School will be resource persons for the camp. GPPK to observe Balidan Diwas
Kohima, August 24 (MExN): The Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) in association with Gorkha NGOs will be organising Balidan Diwas in memory of Shaheed Major Durga Malla, Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse and other martyrs at the Gorkha Public Panchayat Complex, Kohima on August 25, 8:00 am. Gorkha Community including the Gorkha defence ex-service man will pay tribute to all the martyrs during the program, Anup Rana, Press & Publicity Secretary, GPPK in a release informed.
Health Minister visits IMDH
Mokokchung, August 24 (MExN): Minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangyu Phom paid a surprise visit to Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung on August 18. The Minister, after visiting the wards, expressed his satisfaction with the upkeep of the hospital and the work progress in the ICU. While interacting with the officers and the staff of the hospital, the minister stressed on the importance of IMDH as a referral hospital to neighbouring districts like Longleng, Tuensang and Zunheboto. He also expressed his appreciation for the services rendered by the doctors and nurses of the hospital in attending to the needs of the poor patients of these districts. He also urged them to continue their good work, making the hospital a model hospital of the state.
GPRN/NSCN discharges one
Dimapur, August 24 (MExN): Office of the Secretary, Ministry of Kilo Affairs, GPRN/NSCN has discharged Tohika Swu, Khapur under Union Territory-I from active national service with immediate effect on health ground. The GPRN/NSCN through a press release issued by MIP Secretary R Sangtam has conveyed best wishes in his future endeavors and prayed for his early recovery.
