NPF extends Durga Puja greetings

Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): Naga People’s Front (NPF) Minority Wing, Central has extended warm greetings to one and all on the occasion of Durga Puja, with a prayer to commemorate in a spirit of unity, harmony and peace.  

NDPP 5 mourns demise of Rajuvil Angami

Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C has mourned the demise of Rajuvil Angami of Khanakhurü village from Gauhati on October 14. Rajuvil is the brother of Rokolhou Angami, Class-1 contractor and Director of NAAGAAMII Infratech Pvt. Ltd. A condolence note stated that the people of the area have lost a very active and noble soul who always walked the talk to help the downtrodden in the society. While grieving the loss of a humble son, the constituency members prayed that God comfort the bereaved family at this hour of grief.  

NCC CATC held at Sainik School Punglwa

Punglwa, October 14 (MExN): A 10 day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC- VI) 2018 which began on October 3 concluded at Sainik School Punglwa. The cadets were divided into three companies Alpha, Bravo and Charlie to inculcate a spirit of cooperation, bonhomie and competition. All together, 133 cadets from Junior and Senior division participated in the camp, a press release informed. The camp was headed by Sqn Ldr Sanjeev Chaudhary, Vice Principal and Officer Commanding NL(I) Coy of the school. Akhu Kath and team leader Sub Inspector N Vikiho Awomi demonstrated to the cadets on disaster management, security and medical first response. Gp Capt Sharad R Keskar, the Principal of the school attended the camp as chief guest on the concluding day and appreciated complimented the cadets for their outstanding achievements.
