DBS condoles

Dimapur, October 20 (MExN): The Dimapur Bangali Samaj (DBS) has mourned the demise of Dr Suhas Sen, one of the senior most physicians. The DBS in a condolence message conveyed that his services will be remembered by the people and prayed to God to give solace to his family members.  

CRPF commemoration day

Zubza, October 20 (MExN): The 78 Battalion of Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF), Zubza, Nagaland commemorated two of its cadres who were awarded President Police medal for Gallantry on the eve of its Commemoration Day on October 21. HC/RO A Sakthivel and CT/GD Aneesh Philip laid their life during special operation conducted at Bhaderwah (J&K) on July 29, 2005, a press note from the CRPF informed. For their bravery, courage and gallant action and risking their own safety, awarded President Police medal for Gallantry (Posthumous) vide GOI Notification No.132-Press/07 dated 3/7/2007.  

NMM Mission Challenge from Nov 9 to 11

Dimapur, October 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM), the missions department of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) has invited delegates for its Mission Challenge 2018 from November 9 to 11 at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima under the Theme "Therefore Go." It has informed that food will be provided for all the registered delegates while the associations are requested to arrange the accommodations for the delegates in their own respective tribal churches in Kohima.  

PDTA Audit Committee clarifies on expulsion

Phek, October 20 (MExN): The Phek District Timber Association (PDTA) Audit Committee members have issued a clarification regarding the expulsion of its members Sanyi and Tsote Wezah from PDTA. The audit committee stated that the committee has given their resignation on September 26 “with the end of our tenure.” The committee, therefore, stated that “the expulsion, news published on October 16 has nothing to do with the Audit Committee and is done by few interested individuals.”  

SBC Biennial Conf from Oct 27 to 28

Dimapur, October 20 (MExN): The Sümi Baptist Convention Biennial conference will be held at Sürühuto Town Baptist Church from October 27 to 28. The Pastors, Associate Pastors and Centre staffs of the three Sümi Baptist Associations (SBAK Nito Mount/SABAK/WSBAK) have been requested to attend the conference. The Council members have further been informed to reach the venue on October 27 evening for deliberation on important issues related to Convention.
