PMEGP applicants of Kiphire informed

Kiphire, September 17 (MExN): In view of less number of PMEGP applications in the PMEGP E-Portal, the Chairman, District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) has advised the general public of Kiphire district and the eligible applicants who are interested that they can apply/file their application online with their supportive documents to the respective agency NKVIB and DIC within 15 days from the date of publication of this information. This was stated in a press release from I Athuba Lusang, Deputy Director I/C, State Office, Khadi & VI Commission (KVIC).

 

Training on Unique Disability ID

Kohima, September 17 (MExN): A one-day state level training programme on Unique Disability ID (UDID) Project and usage of UDID application software for all the DCs, CMOs, DWOs along with the data operators will be held on  September 23, Hotel Japfü Kohima at 9:30 am. The resource persons will be from the ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, informed a press release issued by T Merangtsungba Aier, Director, Directorate of Social Welfare, Kohima. All the officials have been requested to attend the training positively. 

 

ANHTU Dimapur informs

Dimapur, September 17 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) Dimapur Unit has informed all the government Schools (class 9 to 12) and Hindi institutes (Classes Parichey, Kovid, Diploma 1st & 2nd Year) under Dimapur district to send the names of four students for a debate on the topic “Advantages and disadvantages of social media” and the names of five students for an essay writing competition on the topic “Importance of Hindi” on or before September 25. This was informed in a press release issued by the ANHTU. It also informed that the Union will celebrate its silver jubilee and state level Hindi Divas on October 4 with Advisor Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs Zhaleo Rio. Mokokchung DPDB meeting 

Mokokchung, September 17 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner and Vice-Chairman DPDB Mokokchung, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS has notified that the scheduled meeting of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Mokokchung will be held on September 20 at 11:00 AM at the ADC (Planning) Conference Hall. All the DPDB members have been directed to attend the meeting positively. 

 

NSUB 50th fresher’s meet

Bangalore, September 17 (MExN): The Naga Students' Union Bangalore (NSUB) will celebrate its 50th fresher’s meet on September 21 at UTC College, Bangalore. Rozelle Mero, the founder and managing director of The People Channel will grace the event as chief guest, informed a press release issued by the NSUB media cell. The NSUB further invited all the Nagas living in Bangalore to come and grace the event. 

Campaign on rights of Person With Disabilities

Kohima, September 17 (MExN): Sanitation & Awareness campaign on Rights of Person with Disabilities (RPWD) Act 2016 for state government officials will be launched by Chief Secretary Nagaland, Temjen Toy at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat conference hall on September 19 at 11:00 am. The programme will be organised by mission mode team, accessible India campaign, in collaboration with the office of state commissioner for person with disabilities with a view to sensitize and create awareness RPwDs. All AHODs, HODs and nodal officers for person with disabilities have been requested to attend the launching programme.

 

Workshop on GI and IPR 

Kohima, September 17 (MExN): The Patent Information Centre (PIC) under Nagaland Science & Technology Council (NASYEC), Department of Science & Technology is organizing one day workshop on Geographical Indication (GI) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on how to secure the traditional knowledge and traditional rights at a State level for the respective Tribal Apex organization, Weavers and concern stakeholders in Nagaland and in line Department on October 4, at Hotel Japfü, Kohima at 9:00 am. The workshop will be on how to protect and secure indigenous and traditional knowledge, Textiles & Handicrafts.

 

Kiphire DC calls meeting for NCPCR

Kiphire, September 17 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kiphire Sarita Yadav IAS in a notification has informed that the Kiphire district will be having a sitting for the discussion of National Commission for Protection of Child Right (NCPCR) at the district HQ at DC’s Office on September 26 at 9:00am.
