NCSU advent Christmas

Kohima, December 13 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractor’s & Supplier’s Union (NCSU) will be organizing advent Christmas with Kohima Town Pastors Fellowship cum felicitation of best traffic award on December 14, 4:00 pm at Hotel Japfü, Kohima. Dr Kevichülie Metha, president Kohima Town Pastors Fellowship will be the speaker. NCSU president and Kohima SP will also deliver greetings.


 
KMC inter–ward cleanliness competition

Kohima, December 13 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) will be celebrating 9th annual inter–ward cleanliness competition on December 16, 4:00 pm at KMC office premises, Kohima. Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, advisor urban development and municipal will grace the occasion as the special guest.

 

DNSU emergency presidential meet

Dimapur, December 13 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has convened an emergency presidential meeting with all the Units of DNSU on December 14, 1:00 pm at its office. DNSU in a meeting circular has requested all the presidents and general secretaries of all units to compulsorily attend the meeting.

 

KPC annual picnic cum get together 

Kohima, December 13 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) will be organizing its annual picnic-cum-get-together on December 14 at Phriebagei, near Medical College, P-Khel Kohima Village from 11:00 am onwards. KPC in a press release has invited all its members along with their family and well wishers to be a part of the annual event.

 

AIFFSO mourns demise of Dennis

Peren, December 13 (MExN): All India Freedom Fighters Successor’s Organization (AIFFSO) has mourned the sudden demise of Dennis Elun, President AIFFSO Peren District who passed away on December 10 in Jalukie. President AIFFSO, Nagaland, Zeliezhu Angami in a condolence message said that he was one of the most inspiring figures and “his demise has left a vacuum which will take a toll of time to fill.” Angami conveyed condolence to all the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

 

RYCD offers condolence 

Dimapur, December 13 (MExN): The Rongmei Youth Club Dimapur (RYCD) has mourned the demise of its former president Thomas Pamei, who passed away on December 11 in Dimapur. The RYCD in a condolence message said he was a strong and active personality among Rongmeis who contributed tremendously to the betterment of the society, particularly for the youth. The message said that under his leadership, RYCD was crowned champion of NSF Martyr’s Trophy in the year 2004. The RYCD prayed that God grant his family comfort and peace in this hour of grief and for the departed soul to rest in peace.

 

TTSU observes first death anniversary of General Kholi

Mon, December 13 (MExN): Hundreds of people young and old came together to observe the Candle Light service in  commemoration of the first death anniversary of General Kholi Konyak (Retd) at Bazaar Junction Tobu Town on December 12 at 5:00 pm. The programme was organised by Tobu Town Students' Union (TTSU). During the programme, the President of TTSU, HD GB Tobu Town, Kaiba Vice Chairman ATC spoke and highlighted late Kholi’s commitment towards the cause of Naga freedom struggle.

 

Nagaland city level review programme in Jalukie 

Peren, December 13 (MExN): Nagaland city level review program 'A campaign for change management' organised by Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Housing for All (urban) was held on December 10 at Jalukie woman welfare conference hall Jalukie town. As per DIPR report, resource person, Dr Tinojongshi Chang ADC, Jalukie town in his welcome address thanked both the students and teachers from various schools for participating in various activities organised by PMAY- HFA (U). He requested the beneficiaries to continue the good work and participate in both state level and district level competitions. A report on angikaar was given by Emmi Nring, Nodal officer for angikaar Jalukie Town and videos on angikaar campaign were also shown. Certificates of appreciation were also given to individuals and institutions.
