ANGPTA Zbto meeting on Jan 16 

Zunheboto, January 13 (MExN): The ANGPTA Zunheboto unit has convened a general meeting on January 16 at 10:30 am at VDB Hall Zunheboto. “Some important issues would be discussed and executive council for next tenure shall be inducted,” a press release stated while adding that all the Primary Teachers under Zunheboto District are informed to attend the meeting without fail.

 

GeM Samvaad-interaction on January 17 

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): The State Government in collaboration with Government e Marketplace will be organising a one-day interaction with buyers and sellers called GeM-Samvaad on January 17 in the conference hall of the Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts, Kohima. The first half from 10:00 am to 12 noon will be for the buyers and the second half from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm will be for the sellers. All Government departments and State Public Sector Undertakings are requested to attend. Further, all commercial organisations, Start-ups, Self-Help Groups, Artisans, Crafts persons etc. are also invited to attend.  Concerned departments are also requested to tie up with such organisations working in their respective sectors to ensure their presence at the programme.

 

NITI AAYOG team to visit Kiphire 

Kiphire, January 13 (MExN): The Kiphire District Administration has organised the review meeting with the District officers and tribal bodies for the proposed visit of NITI AAYOG to Kiphire District Headquarter on January 15.  Deputy Commissioner, Sarita Yaav highlighted the schedule of the NITI AAYOG visit, and urged the Tribal bodies to sincerely report on how much the district is developed under the Aspirational district. She further advised the health sector to report before the NITI AAYOG, she said that this kind of opportunities is very rare therefore asked the Tribal bodies to be prepared to share their request. The team is coming from Delhi and will reach Kiphire on January 15, as soon as they reach the team will be going to different places around Kiphire Town, after which a meeting will be held at DC’s conference hall.

 

Dy CMO mourns demise of late CY Kithan

Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): The Dy Chief Minister of Nagaland, Y Patton has conveyed condolence on the demise of late C Yilumo Kithan (CY Kithan) of Yikhum Village, ex-candidate from 37th A/C on January 12 at Dimapur. Patton recollected late Kithan as a courageous, sincere and humble public servant and above all a wonderful human being. His demise is not only a lost for the Lotha community but it is a great lost for the Naga society in general, it will be difficult to fill the vacuum which he has created in the society, Patton stated. While conveying heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Dy CMO prayed that “almighty God may grant them strength and comfort at this difficult time of sorrow and pray for the departed noble soul to Rest in Peace.”

 

JCBKK mourns demise of Rev Keholeshü Tepa

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): Japfüphiki Chokri Baptist Khriesarüü Krotho (JCBKK) has mourned the untimely demise of Reverend Keholeshü Tepa, Senior Pastor, Kedima Baptist Church (KBC) who breathed his last on January 9. As per a condolence note appended by JCBKK President Vemucho Chüzho, Tepa was a pioneer, a cheerful and inspiring leader who always stood by the JCBKK and in his death, “we lost a deep rooted servant of God.” The JCBKK conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that God grant peace and solace to the departed soul.

 

NSCN (IM) condole demise of cadres 

Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of (L) Khughovi Swu, Tatar from Chisholi village under Sumi Region on January 11 and (L) Lieutenant Pashel Motha (Naga Army No AX-40414) of Zasibituo Battalion, Naga Army from Tokpaching village under Khurmi Region on January 11. NSCN (IM) through its MIP in a condolence message stated that both of them served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until their demise. “The void created by their demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For their selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and their sacrifices ever be cherished by all,” it stated. It also conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty God to grant their souls eternal peace and rest.
