Rostrum inaugurated at Mangkolemba
Mangkolemba, August 14 (MExN): The long felt need of a rostrum at Mangkolemba which finally came up with the initiative of ADC Mangkolemba, Razouvolie Dozo, was inaugurated by the ADC on August 13. After unveiling of plaque, the chief guest lauded the stake holders and the public leaders for the successful completion of the rostrum. He stated that the construction was made possible because of the active cooperation of the various sections of the community. He requested the people of Mangkolemba to continue their full support and cooperation for all round development in the sub division. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Medemwapang (MTC Caretaker), welcome speech was delivered by Toshi, Vice -Chairman MTC and short speeches were delivered by Jongpongtiba Ward Chairman, Sashikaba GB and President MALT.
Orientation training on KAYAKALP at Mokokchung
Mokokchung, August 14 (MExN): One-day orientation training on KAYAKALP was conducted in the office of Chief Medical Office Mokokchung on August 14. A press release from DPMU Mokokchung stated that the resource person for the training, Dr. Aonungdok Medical Officer Alongkima PHC, gave a power point presentation on KAYAKALP and explained in detail about participating in KAYAKALP. The orientation was followed by discussion among the participants. Dr. Kibangkumba Dy.CMO also gave a brief introduction about KAYAKALP 2018- 2019 and its objectives. The orientation programme was attended by Medical Superintended IMDH, Dy. CMO, SMOs , MOs and representatives from the 19 Health units.
Attendance of employees mandatory on I-day
Kohima, August 14 (MExN): Nagaland Home Department has given a directive to all offices and staff of Nagaland Civil Secretariat to attend the Independence Day celebration mandatorily on August 15. The officials have also been directed to attend the evening programme of the National Day compulsorily. Further, all Administrative Head of Department have been requested to take attendance of their respective staff and submit the attendance sheet for necessary action. Supervisor has also given direction to take attendance for the grade IV staff (Nagaland Civil Secretariat) under her purview. It also informed that as usual the Secretariat staff buses would pick up the employees from their respective pick up points by 8:00 am.
