ANCSU 2nd union assembly 
Kohima, April 5 (MExN): All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) 2nd union assembly will be held at NSF conference hall, Naga club building Oking, Kohima on April 25 at 11:00 am. Therefore, all the units are requested to send two representatives with proper authorization letter with seal and signature from the president or general secretary for the concern colleges in the said assembly without fail. 

DBC alumni get together
Dimapur, April 5 (MExN): There will be alumni get together cum seminar of Discipleship Bible College on April 12 and 13 at the College campus. DBC alumni coordinator Kilangsang Longkumer in a press release stated that alumnae are expected to arrive at 2:00 pm on April 12. Therefore, all the alumni of DBC are requested to attend the programme without fail.  

DC Dimapur informs on burning of jungles
Dimapur, April 5 (MExN): In view of the indiscriminate burning of jungles, OFC cables laid along and underneath the road are being damaged resulting breakdown of BSNL services. Election Commission of India has issued instructions for uploading of date and poll day activities to the ECI website, which make connectivity an important aspect for election related activities. The DC Dimapur Hushili Sema, IAS in a press release has directed all concern villages under Dimapur district to desist from indiscriminate jungle burning within their village jurisdiction. Violators of this order shall be fined a sum of rupees one lakh and also be prosecuted as per provision of law. 

DC Peren informs on jungle burning
Peren, April 5 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioner, Peren Peter Lichamo has informed that all village authorities under Peren district directing them to check any indiscriminate burning of jungles within their jurisdiction keeping in view the damage caused to OFC cables, thus impeding telecommunication especially with regard to ongoing electioneering process. Awareness on this matter is to be disseminated by the respective Village Councils and any violation of this order by any individual will be penalized as per the provision of law.

Global Reach office launching in Kohima
Kohima, April 5 (MExN): The Global Reach Kohima office will be launched on April 13 at 8:00 AM at Old Taxi Stand, Kohima. It will be inaugurated by Rolf Baum, Regional Marketing Manager, Intueri Education Group, New Zealand. The function will be followed by press conference. Dimapur, April 5 (MExN): The IDA Nagaland State Branch in association with Ivoclar Vivadent Marketing (I) Pvt Ltd presents Dr Kshitij Mawlikar (Mumbai), lecture on “Anterior aesthetic Restoration and Hands-on on Direct Veneer (Composite)” on April 17 at Dimapur.
