More areas sealed in Kohima 

Kohima, August 20 (MExN): In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive cases, locations at Upper AG Colony, New Minister's Hill Colony and Middle AG Colony, Kihima have been demarcated as Sealed Area in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing. ADC Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that all movement of person/vehicles within the defined Sealed Area is strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing. The Sealed Area include: a house in Upper AG Colony, Kohima; a house in New Minister's Hill Colony, Kohima; and a Middle AG Colony, Kohima.

Vehicles from Assam to Mon prohibited

Mon, August 20 (MExN): In view of contain emerging circumstances in Mon district, Deputy Commissioner, Mon has issued order the movement of vehicles transporting essential goods and commodities from Assam to Mon has been prohibited on August 20 till further notice. Non-compliance of the order will entail strict penal action under provisions of the law, the DC stated. 

Tseminyu STF for COVID-19 holds meeting 

Tseminyu, August 20 (MExN): Tseminyu Sub-divisional Task Force for COVID-19 headed by ADC, W. Manpai Phom as chairman, held meeting at ADC conference hall on August 19. According to a DIPR report, the meeting deliberated on the present Government SOP for COVID-19, and resolved to continue management of quarantine centres at Tseminyu Town. However, the returnees will pay for their daily food and the cost of basic requirements. The meeting decided that in the interest of public safety and take continue effort for effective measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the STF will conduct mass awareness campaign in the Sub-division by spreading general awareness of wearing mask and all necessary SOP rules. Further, it also discussed about idea for improvement of waste management in Tseminyu Town. All the concerned members including department heads of offices, Chairman Rengma Hoho, Executive Secretary CRBC and various NGOs/public leaders of Rengma attended the meeting.
