CBCC pastors’ training
Dimapur, March 5 (MExN): The Chakhesang Baptist Church Council pastors’ training will be held at T. Chikri, Pfutsero at Mission Centre from March 19 to 22 under the theme ‘tend my sheep’ based on John 21:15. Organizing Committee, Vice Chairman, Dr. Nuvocho in a press release has requested all the pastors and associate pastors under CBCC to attend the said programme positively. DC Tsg calls meeting on March 12
DIMAPUR, MARCH 5 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, T Mhabemo Yanthan has informed that a meeting with the Heads of Departments (HoDs), BDOs, CDPOs and Sub-Divisional Officers of Tuensang district in connection with the forthcoming by-election is scheduled on March 12 at 1:00 pm in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang.
Hire charges of vehicles/remuneration
Kohima, March 5 (DIPR): This is to inform all concerned that payment of hire charges of Private Vehicles, Remuneration for Counting Personnel, Reserved Polling Personnel who reported in DC/DEO Office on February 22 and 23 in connection with the General Assembly Election 2013 in Kohima District shall be made on March 8. Owners of private requisitioned vehicles are asked to deposit their original requisition and duty slips to office of Election Branch before the said date for cross-verification. Therefore, all concerned have been informed to produce relevant documents to this office while claiming such payments.
NYO condemns life attempt on minor
Dimapur, March 5 (MExN): The Nagabazar Youth Organisation (NYO) has strongly condemned the life attempt on one Reema, age 13 years by two unidentified persons at Nagabazar on March 1 at around 3:00 pm without any reason. Terming the incident as barbaric and inhuman, the NYO has resolved that any person caught within the jurisdiction indulging in any anti-social elements shall be dealt severely. The NYO has also urged all the members of the colony to be vigil and alert the organisation if any person or group are found loitering in the colony in suspicious manner.
