Applications for temporary fireworks license

Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): The Dimapur Police has informed that applications for temporary fireworks license will be issued at the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur. Therefore, interested parties to stock and sell fire crackers are directed to obtain Permit/License i.e. Form LE-5 after dully filling up Form AE-5. The same may be obtained from the office of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Nagaland, it added. 

BAC chairman convenes meeting on Dec 16

Kohima, December 10 (MExN): Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the chairman of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), has decided to convene a meeting of the BAC on December 16 at 1:00 PM in the Committee Room, Assembly Secretariat to finalise the Provisional Programme for the Tenth Session (Emergent Session) of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, scheduled to start on December 20. Therefore, all Members of the BAC are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting as scheduled. 

Transport dept notifies on retro-reflective tape

Kohima, December 10 (MExN): In pursuance of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways directive vide letter No. RT-11036/19/2021-MVL dated 06.09.2021, the Transport Department has notified that vehicle owners may get their vehicles affixed with retro-reflective tape from any vendor if the retro- reflective tape has been type-approved as per AIS-090 by any of the testing agencies specified under rule 126 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
