InduSind Bank Dimapur sealed for 48 hours
Dimapur, November 13 (MExN): In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, has ordered the temporary sealing of InduSind Bank, near Plaza Restaurant, NL Road Dimapur for 48 hours with immediate effect till further order. DC stated that any person violating the containment measures will be liable to be proceeded as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC.
DEO Zbto notifies on electoral roll
Zunheboto, November 13 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Zunheboto Peter Lichamo notifies that the list of amendment to the draft electoral roll for the 31-Akuluto, 32-Atoizu, 33-Suruhuto, 34-Aghunato, 35-Zunheboto and 36-Satakha Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2021 as the qualifying date and in accordance with Registration of Electoral Rules 1960. In this respect, the DC and DEO Zunheboto has informed the public that the copy of draft electoral roll together with the list of amendment has been published and is available for inspection at DEO office.
BLOs under Wokha directed to conduct special campaign
Wokha, November 13 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner & Electoral Registration Officer, Wokha, K Mhathung Tsanglao has informed all the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) under Wokha District that the Election Commission has scheduled special campaign dates with regard to special summary revision of photo Electoral Rolls with effect from January 1, 2021 as qualifying date. In this regards, all the BLOs are directed to conduct special campaign from their respective Polling Stations on the under mentioned dates without fail. Special campaign dates (Activities & Period) – November 20, 21, December 4 and 5.
ADC Kohima informs on electoral roll
Kohima, November 13 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer, Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has informed that in connection with the publication of draft photo electoral roll pertaining to Special Summary Revision with January 1, 2021 as the qualifying date, a meeting with the representatives of political parties and all the AEROs under Kohima District will be held on November, 16 at 1:00 P.M in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima. All concerned have been informed to be present for the meeting without fail.
DC Mon informs political parties
Mon, November 13 (MExN): All the recognized political parties, Mon Division have been informed that Integrated Draft Electoral Rolls is scheduled to be published on November 16. In this regard, political parties have been requested to be present at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall on the said date at 10:00 am. It may be reminded that 2 sets of Electoral Rolls in Draft (1 soft copy and 1 hard copy) for the 41 to 48 ACs & 55 AC will be issued to all the recognized political parties.
