Nagaland State BJP meeting on Oct 23

Kohima, October 21 (MExN): A combine meeting of Nagaland State BJP Legislators and state office bearers with senior party functionaries and District Presidents will be held in Kisama on October 23 at 3:00 pm. In this regard, State Media Cell, BJP Nagaland in a press note has requested all the State Office Bearers, Morcha Presidents and General Secretaries, senior leaders- both past and present to attend the meeting positively. Meanwhile, attendees are requested to bring ‘valuable agendas and suggestions’ to the meeting.

One arrested with weapon in Dimapur 

Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police, ‘based on a specific input’ apprehended a cadre of NSCN (U) at general area Burma Colony, Dimapur on October 14. According to HQ IGAR (N), the one point 32 pistol with magazine was recovered from the apprehended individual. He has been handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur along with recovered items for further investigation, it stated. 

SCERT to facilitate procurement of textbooks

Kohima, October 21 (MExN): SCERT, Nagaland has informed that it will facilitate the procuring of the Nagaland Heritage Studies Series (MIL) Classes 1-8 and Nagaland Heritage Studies Series (English Version) Classes 5-8 textbooks for all private schools for the Academic session 2022. Therefore, the SCERT has requested the private schools willing to introduce the Nagaland Heritage Studies textbook to place the school requirements to SCERT on or before October 30.
