
One unidentified dead body recovered in Dimapur
Dimapur, December 27 (MExN): An unidentified dead body of a male non-Naga (40-45 yrs approx), was recovered from a foot path near NST building on December 27. According to a press release from the Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime) & PRO, Dimapur Police, on completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for postmortem examination and identification. “It is highly suspected that the deceased must have died due to starvation,” the release stated. Claimants, relatives, friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, East Police Station, Dimapur (Mobile No. 7085055020).
CSU platinum jubilee from February 14 to 16
Kohima, December 27 (MExN): The Chakhesang Students' Union (CSU) will be holding its General Conference-cum-Platinum Jubilee celebration from February 14 to 16, 2022 at Phek Town under the theme ‘Towards a refined guild,' it informed on Monday. In view of this, the Union solicited the participation, support and cooperation of all the affiliated units and general citizens of Chakhesang community for the success of the momentous occasion. Furthermore, all other organizations under Chakhesang jurisdiction have been requested to take strict note of this notice while fixing any event to avoid any clash of events. This was stated in a release issued by CSU president Vetho Vadeo and general secretary Avezo Kevin Kapu.
PSU general session from December 29
Kohima, December 27 (MExN): The 63rd general session cum cultural dance competition of Phek Students’ Union (PSU) will be held from December 29 to 30 at Phek village under the theme ‘Cultural identity in modern context.’ MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu will be the cultural guest while Dr Ketholeno Rhakho, Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Nagaland will be the speaker of the inaugural session. Zhokho Venuh, Principal, Capital College Kohima will be valedictory speaker.
SSU general session from today
Kohima, December 27 (MExN): The 56th general session of Sakraba Students’ Union will be held from December 28 to 29 at Sakraba village in Phek district under the theme ‘Discover the differences.’ Zaveyi Kezo, state secretary BJP Nagaland will be the guest speaker while Zhoi Lohe, SDO (C) Phek will be the resource speaker. Greetings will be shared by Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) president Vetho Vadeo.
