Leinong Naga community from Myanmar condmens
Dimapur, December 14 (MExN): Leinong Naga community from Myanmar occupied Nagas have expressed deep sadness and shock to learn about the killings of 14 innocent Konyak brothers by the Indian paramilitary forces on December 4 at Oting village under Mon district in Nagaland. “Such kind of inhuman act upon the innocent public is beyond human reasonable. Therefore, the barbaric and unscrupulous act of paramilitary forces is highly condemnable and the justice will be served as per the law of the lands” stated a press release issued by Leinong Naga community Media Cell. The community has extended solidarity towards Konyak brothers in this time of grief.
NFR conducts sanitation drive, awareness
Maligaon, December 14 (MExN): As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, NFR Tinsukia District Association organized a quiz competition at Hijuguri Railway High School, Tinsukia on December 10. Participants from Class 6 to 10 comprising of six students in each group took part in the competition. The group of class 6 secured the first while group of class 9 and class 10 secured second and third positions respectively. Members of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, NFR Tinsukia District Association conducted a sanitation drive at Hijuguri Railway Colony, Tinsukia on December 11. Total 35 members including Scouts, Guide, Rovers, Rangers and Unit Leaders took part in the drive. Members of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, NFR Lumding District Association conducted street play at Lumding and Manderdisa Railway stations on December 12 to create awareness.
Passes for NLA session on Dec 20
Kohima, December 14 (MExN): In view of the Tenth Session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly to be held on December 20, car passes and official gallery passes will be issued on December 18 during the regular Office-hours from 10:30 am TO 3:30 pm as indicated below: All Ministers, Advisors and AHODs may collect Car Passes and Gallery Passes from the Special Secretary (Home), Civil Secretariat, Nagaland, Kohima; All MLAs, PS/PA to the Members are to collect Car Passes from the Reception Counter Gate No-II, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat; All HODs, IPR and Media Persons are to collect their Car Passes from the Reception Counter, Gate No-I, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
