DCs appointed for three new districts
Dimapur, December 21 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland has appointed new Deputy Commissioners for the Tseminyu, Niuland and Chümoukedima districts on December 21. A notification issued by Chief Secretary J Alam informed that Dr Zasekoulie Chusi, who was the Additional Secretary for Home has been transferred and posted as Tseminyu Deputy Commissioner while Abhinav Shivam who held the Pungro Additional Deputy Commissioner post has been transferred and posted as the Chümoukedima DC, and Ajit Kumar Verma has been transferred from his role as Tuensang ADC and posted as Niuland DC. The replacements for the three officials were not mentioned in the Chief Secretary’s notification.
December 23 holiday for banks, financial institutions in Nagaland
Kohima, December 21 (MExN): The State Government, through the state DIPR has notified that December 23, Thursday has been declared a holiday for Banks and Financial Institutions in Nagaland under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Act XXVI).
