KMC for renewal of trade licence
Kohima, February 27 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has directed all the business establishments/institutions within KMC jurisdiction to renew their trade licences for the year 2021-2022 on or before March 31. Intensive trade licence inspection will be conducted by KMC from Ist April onwards. Defaulters will be fined Rs 2000 as penalty along with other normal late fines as applicable, according to KMC administrator Kovi Meyase.
KYO restricts entry to Chida resort from March 1
Phek, February 27 (MExN): The Khezhakeno Youth Organisation (KYO) on February 27 informed that due to the prevailing border tension at Chida Resort, Khezhakeno village, the entry of all tourists and visitors will be restricted with effect from March 1 till further notice.
This has been enforced as a precautionary measure for the safety of the general public, the KYO stated in a press release on Saturday. It also requested tourists and general public to take note of the directive in order to avoid any unwanted situation.
