DEO Dimapur notifies

DIMAPUR, JULY 10 (MExN): The District Education Office Dimapur has informed all teachers serving in government and private schools here who want to apply for District/State Award 2023 and financial assistance from National Foundation for Teachers Welfare, may come and collect the nomination form from DEO office Room No 1 during office hours. Last date for submission of Nomination Form to DEO establishment is July 18. 

NSCN (IM) informs

DIMAPUR, JULY 10 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has informed that for reason of administrative convenience as desire by the national workers of Wangcho Region, NSCN/GPRN, the incumbent CAO of Wangcho Region, Wanham Wangsa has been released from his post with effect from June 28. A press release from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) said that this decision was taken following an emergency meeting held on June 28. The Wangcho Region looks forward to carry on the function of   NSCN/GPRN with great vigor and determination under the new officers, it added.

PAC to spot verify district hospitals

KOHIMA, JULY 10 (MExN): The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Mhathung Yanthan MLA, with six other members of the committee of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, accompanied by the Secretary In-Charge and Officials of the Legislature Secretariat will undertake an ‘On-the-spot verification’ on July 21 in connection with the examination of the C&AG Report of India for the year 2018-19 on the Performance Audit of select district hospitals in Nagaland. A press release from the NLA Secretariat informed that the committee will visit the NHAK, Kohima and the District Hospital Dimapur. All the PAC members have been asked to make it convenient to participate in the verification. The committee also directed the concerned department representatives to be present at the selected district hospitals with relevant information to assist the committee as per the tour programme. 

NSCN/GPRN (Niki) discharges one on health grounds

DIMAPUR, JULY 10 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Niki) today informed that its Ministry of Home Affairs has discharged Inoli Alum Yimkhuing, Leacy, under UT-1 from active national service on health grounds. A press release from the NSCN/GPRN (Niki) said that the “invaluable service rendered by her for the cause of the Naga nation is highly applauded and shall be etched in the annals of Naga history.”
