PDAD not to tolerate petroleum adulteration
Dimapur, March 11 (MExN): The Petroleum Dealers’ Association Dimapur (PDAD) today asserted that it will not tolerate any form of manipulation and adulteration from any retail outlets.
The association during its meeting held on March 10 resolved to invite “any customer, union or association to check the quality and quantity of fuel following Marketing Discipline Guidelines (MDG) laid by oil companies.”
It further informed all retail outlets to avail filter paper to customers to check the quality of petrol. “Any customer can report to District Administration or any competent authority or office bearers of PDAD if they are not satisfied with the quality and quantity of fuel,” PDAD office stated in a press release.
It also stated that the association is “totally against any individual or organisation imposing fines under the pretest of adulteration on retail outlets.”
DC Peren informs
Peren, March 11 (MExN): DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier has informed all concerned allottees to clear jungle/foliage within their respective allotted plot at District Hq. within a period of one week time. The order also stated that this has been necessitated for smooth exercise of survey and GPS mapping to be carried out by the District Land records and Survey Department. This is for strict compliance of all concerned.
KSU condemns March 9 firing incident
DIMAPUR, MARCH 11 (MExN): The Khiamniungan Students’ Union (KSU) has condemned the March 9 firing incident at ITC DAN Noklak. “The incident has caused fear and apprehension to the citizens inhabiting in the area as well as the Khiamniungan citizens in general. Such incident disrupts the functioning of the schools and the union’s prioritized concerns are affected,” a press release from the KSU stated. It once again reaffirmed the appeal for relocation of Assam Rifles camp from the village “in the respect of innocent public’s safety.” It further asked the State Government for immediate creation of Border Magistrate “in compliance to the statement proposed by the Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC).”
NBSE informs on online meeting
Kohima, March 11 (MExN): Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notifies that an online meeting for centre superintendents of HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2021 will be held on March 17 at 11:00 am to discuss the role and responsibilities of the Centre Superintendents, rules and regulations, and examination related matters. It has been informed that it is mandatory for all the Centre Superintendents to participate in the webinar positively. The meeting ID and passcode shall be given later in the Centre Superintendents WhatsApp groups.
NSCN/GPRN notifies on rampant illegal collections
Dimapur, March 11 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN today stated that “due to criminals masquerading as our cadres are engaging in rampant illegal collections and in the process, trying to malign NSCN/GPRN.” A press release issued by Nikato Pilot Sumi, Kilonser, MIP, NSCN/GPRN has requested all “to be on guard against such unauthorised criminals.”
