ADC Tuensang prohibits door to door business

Tuensang, May 20 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner & Administrator, Tuensang Town Council (TTC), Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma IAS has stated that various salesperson/street hawkers are roaming door to door in town area for business purposes, which is posing a potential threat for spread of COVID-19 in Town area. In view it and as decided during the meeting of District Task Force on COVID - 19 held on May 19 to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Town area, all such business activities are prohibited with immediate effect until further orders. “Any violation of this order shall attract penal action under the relevant provision of Law,” the ADC added.

COVID-19 PHEK: Contacts for crematorium caretakers

Kohima, May 20 (MExN): Phek Deputy Commissioner has issued the details of Nodal Officer/caretakers of the cemetery/crematorium in Phek district. Phek DC and chairman District Task Force Razouvolie Dozo stated that the given contacts may be contacted for locating the cemetery for burial/crematorium.

Liquor worth Rs 7.2 lakh seized in Dimapur town

Dimapur, May 20 (MExN): Security Forces in a joint operation with police apprehended four individuals with illegal liquor at Nihokhu and Eros Line, Dimapur on May 18. An update from HR IGAR (HQ) said that based on a specific input, Security Forces in a joint operation with State police apprehended four individuals and recovered illegal liquor worth approx Rs 7.2 lakh at Nihokhu and Eros Line, Dimapur. The apprehended individuals alongwith recovered liquor were handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, it stated.
