DC Tuensang on restrictions of heavy vehicles

Tuensang, May 7 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, A Zibenthung Kithan NCS issued an order on restrictions of movement heavy vehicles at Tuensang-Longleng Road due to dilapidated condition of road at Shopilak Bridge. Therefore, all heavy vehicles have been advised to ply through Assam-Mokokchung-Chare-Tuensang till further notice.

KCCK 25th anniversary on May 11

Kohima, May 7 (MExN): The Khiamniungan Cultural Club Kohima (KCCK) is all set to celebrate its 25th anniversary on May 11 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama under the theme “Dignify our culture.” MLA P Longon, chairman Noklak District Planning & Development Board will grace the celebration as the special guest. Meanwhile, the Union extended invitation to all present and former members of the club and well wishers to the celebration.

Shamator DBDP meeting held

Shamator 7, May 7 (MExN): Shamator District Planning & Development Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports and DBDP Chairman, S Keoshu Yimkhiung, at DB Court, Shamator on May 7. During the meeting, the house discussed on various agenda including construction of new SP residence; Community Center at Rururu; Model Village; Iconic scheme, kholar farming, footpath, marketing market and waiting sheet.
