Khriekhoto Mor appointed NNCGeneral Secretary
Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): The Naga National Council today informed on the appointment of Khriekothoto Mor as its General Secretary.
A press release from NNC Vice President Thepushuyi S Keyho informed that he was elected by the Central Executive Council of the NNC on October 23.
NSCN(IM) condoles
Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) in a condolence message issued through its MIP mourned the demise of Khonchamo Mozhui, Tatar, from Yimparasa village under Lotha Region, who passed away on November 16.
Mozhui enrolled in the Naga national service in 2000 and served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise, the message stated.
“The void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished by all,” it stated while conveying condolences to the bereaved family.
GPRN/NSCN mourns
Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has mourned the demise of its members Major Chuba Khamba(Chang), Vikato Awomi and Pte Nyakhao Konyak.
In a condolence message issued through its MIP on Tuesday, the GPRN/NSCN stated that Major Chuba Khamba(Chang) of Ngangpong village, Chang Region enrolled in the Naga Army in December 1992 and served the GPRN/NSCN till November 16. Vikato Awomi, Under Secretary, who hailed from Nihoto village, Union Territory Region, joined the national service on the September 13, 2005 and served for 15 years till his passing on November 15.
Pte Nyakhao Konyak, of Monyakshu village, Konyak Region who enrolled in the Naga Army on the February 5, 2020, served till his last breath on November 16, it added.
“GPRN/NSCN expresses grief over the untimely demise and loss of our three active and spirited comrades… Their service and legacy for the cause of the Naga nation is very much honored and will be fondly remembered and recorded in the pages of the Naga history,” the condolence message stated.
The GPRN/NSCN conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed souls to rest in peace.
